SB 337 – Public Defense.

SB 867 – Evidence
Provides that witness is unavailable for purposes of hearsay rules if witness is absent from hearing and proponent of statement has established that party against whom statement is offered engaged in forfeiture by wrongdoing that caused witness to be unavailable.

SB 339 – Probation
Authorizes court to require as condition of probation completion of sex offender treatment program and submission to polygraph examinations, if recommended by probation officer and if probationer is on supervision for any sex crime or harassment involving touching of sexual or intimate parts of another person, or was previously convicted of any sex crime.

SB 321Appeals
Sets parameters on the Watkins ruling.

SB 340Crimes
Modifies Venue, Property Offenses, Organized Retail Theft, and Theft in the First
Degree.


HB 2316 – DUII
Expands DUII to include any impairing substance; allows parents and young people who participated in drug/alcohol treatment in a juvenile proceeding to be eligible for DUII diversion; and reduces bike penalties.

HB 2328Sex Crimes
Modifies definition of "oral or anal sexual intercourse" for purposes of sex crimes and makes modifications to Using A Child In A Display Of Sexually Explicit Conduct and Unlawful Sexual Penetration.
